A free, public K-6 charter school in Riverdale, Utah.
Teresa was very happy and honored to join the GFA team in December of 2018. She had worked 15 years for the State of Utah Department of Juvenile Justice Services before dedicating 6 years of her time as a stay at home mom. She has two beautiful children, one boy and one girl, who are the essence of her life and her main purpose and joy.
While out of the workforce she kept busy volunteering at her kids school, doing cub scouts, and child care etc etc. During the summer months her house was often filled with as many as 10 kids running around between her child care, her own kids, friends and cousins. She grew up in the state of Minnesota before coming to Utah to go to BYU. She graduated with a B.S. in Sociology and a Minor in Spanish. Teresa speaks Spanish fluently and is married to a man from Argentina. She speaks Spanish and English in her home. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves animals and lives on an acre of land where she has had many types of pets like chickens, goats, dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles...and the list goes on.
Teresa finds joy in helping others and is excited to have new experiences and make new friends. She hopes to make a positive impact at GFA and learn many new skills.
